Poplar Bluff, Missouri—EBO MD is pleased to welcome Meighan Austin, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, WCP-C, EDS-C, to its team of primary care providers at the Poplar Bluff clinic.

Austin brings a strong foundation in family practice, wound care and holistic, patient-centered care. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Three Rivers College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University in Fayette, and her Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Austin worked in a variety of clinical settings as a registered nurse, including med-surg, postpartum and pediatrics, school nursing and travel nursing. Most recently, she provided care in both family practice and wound care settings.

“My approach to patient care is rooted in treating every individual like family,” Austin said. “I’m passionate about finding the root causes of health concerns—not just managing symptoms—and empowering patients to take control of their health through education, trust and teamwork.”

Austin said she was drawn to EBO MD because of its commitment to compassionate, barrier-free care. “The organization’s values align with my passion for providing care in an environment where everyone has access to the support they need,” she said. “It’s a place where I can truly make a difference.”

Originally from Qulin, Missouri, Austin is proud to care for patients in her home region. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her son in baseball and basketball, supporting her daughter in pageants, and traveling with her family.
