About the medications:

• Semaglutide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) medication that slows gastric emptying, reduces appetite and increases satiety.
• Tirzepatide is a combination GLP-1 and GIP (gastric inhibitory polypeptide) medication that, in addition to reducing appetite and increasing satiety, also enhances insulin sensitivity and boosts fat metabolism.
• Triplex is a combination GLP-1, GIP and Glucagon medication that does everything tirzepatide does but also increases energy expenditure and promotes greater fat burning. Patients taking this medication in trials saw a greater weight reduction than with semaglutide or tirzepatide.
