Cape Girardeau, Missouri—EBO MD is pleased to welcome Tom Rountree, DO, to its team of primary care providers at the Cape Girardeau clinic. A board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Rountree brings more than a decade of experience and a passion for both traditional and lifestyle-based care to his role at the direct primary care practice.

Dr. Rountree offers patients the full spectrum of primary care services, including chronic disease management, preventive care, lifestyle coaching and minor procedures.

He earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich. Prior to joining EBO MD, Dr. Rountree practiced within the Henry Ford Health System and later founded Clear Health Medical, a direct primary care clinic in Michigan focused on personalized, lifestyle-driven medicine.

“I believe in treating the whole person and building trust with each patient,” Rountree said. “My approach centers on helping people uncover the root causes of their health concerns and supporting them with care that is both personalized and evidence-based.”

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rountree is the founder and host of The ClearHealth Podcast, where he explores the intersection of life, medicine and meaningful conversations. He also publishes SundayPotential, a bi-monthly newsletter focused on the principles of lifestyle medicine and long-term wellness.

Dr. Rountree said EBO MD’s commitment to patient-first, barrier-free care is what drew him to the practice. He and his wife, a vascular surgeon, are excited to be raising their son in Cape Girardeau and becoming more rooted in the community.
